OCD SPECTRUM SERVICES
Group Therapy & Workshops
Heal, grow, and connect with others who understand, through structured group therapy and skills-based workshops led by OCD and anxiety specialists.
What Is Group Therapy?
Group therapy brings together a small number of people with similar challenges to work toward healing in a structured, supportive environment. Led by a licensed therapist, group sessions provide a space to learn, practice skills, and connect with others who truly understand what you are going through.
Rather than working in isolation, group therapy harnesses the power of shared experience, peer support, and collective learning to accelerate growth and build lasting resilience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about our groups or workshops? We have answered the most common ones below.
Who is group therapy for?
Our groups are designed for adults experiencing OCD, anxiety disorders, phobias, and related conditions. Groups are carefully matched to ensure participants share similar challenges and goals. A brief intake assessment helps us determine which group is the best fit for you.
How is group therapy different from individual therapy?
Group therapy offers unique benefits that individual therapy cannot replicate, including peer support, shared learning, and the powerful realization that you are not alone. Many clients find that group therapy complements their individual work by providing a safe space to practice skills with others who truly understand.
What types of groups do you offer?
We offer ongoing weekly therapy groups, time-limited skills workshops (such as ERP skills groups and mindfulness-based workshops), and peer support groups. Our offerings change based on demand and therapist availability, contact us to learn what is currently available.
Is group therapy covered by insurance?
Group therapy sessions are typically billed at a lower rate than individual therapy and may be covered by insurance. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about your specific benefits. Our team can also provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.
How do I join a group or workshop?
The first step is to contact us for a brief intake consultation. We will discuss your goals, current challenges, and which group or workshop would be the best fit. Once matched, you will receive information about the group schedule, format, and what to expect in your first session.
Can I do group therapy alongside individual therapy?
Absolutely. Many of our clients participate in both individual and group therapy simultaneously. In fact, combining both approaches often leads to faster progress, as skills learned in individual therapy can be practiced and reinforced in the group setting.
